[English - only this time!] Berets, puffer jackets, metallic chains, stripes and checkerboard-patterns - you think these don't go together at all? Well, they really don't - but that is what makes it intriguing. The fashion-universe came up with a really special style-genre lately, and it baffled me of how many different influences it's constructed. One of which I thought the world wasn't ready for . . . So what is #CONSTRUCTIONCORE, and what is it made of?

Es ist verdammt kalt draußen. Naja, zumindest hoffe ich dass dies der Fall ist, wenn du diesen Blogpost liest. Denn ich habe mir mal 3 verschiedene Outfits überlegt, die kuschelige Pullover als Key-Pieces beinhalten. Lust auf Inspiration für den "Undercover-Gammel"-Look? Guckste hier: It's incredibly cold outside. At least I hope that it is when you're reading this blogost. Because I put together 3 different outfits - and they have comfy, warm sweaters as their key-piece. Want some inspiration for the "undercover-lazyness"-look? Then you might as well look at this:

[GER/ ENG ] Ich habe in meiner Heimat im kalten Herzen Ostfriesland's mal wieder im sozialen Kaufhaus der Stadt vorbeigeschaut. Man könnte auch sagen: Ich kam, ich sah, ich kaufte. Heute zeige ich euch was ich für den Winter geshoppt habe, und dass es so viel schicke, warme und kuschelige Secondhand-Kleidung gibt, die in neue Hände fallen will! When I stayed with my family at the beginning of this month, in the cold heart of nothern Germany, I took a peek into my favourite charity shop again. You could say that I went, I saw, and I bought. A lot. Today I'll show you what I shopped for the winter months, and that there is so much pretty, warm and cosy secondhand-clothing out there that wants a new owner!

Manchmal fragt sich der rationale Teil meines Gehirns, warum der andere Teil Outfits wie diese zusammenstellt und so großen Gefallen daran findet. Letztendlich finde ich meinen Stil erst dann ausgefallen genug, wenn man es nicht mehr schafft, ihn in irgendeine Schulblade zu stecken! Und um das zu tagtäglich zu erreichen, hole ich mir Inspiration von bekannten Websiten bis hin zu den banalsten Dingen, die ich heute mal erwähnen möchte: Sometimes, the rational part of my brain wonders how the other part puts together outfits like these, and completely enjoys it. In the end, my style is only eccentric enough to me, when nobody is able to put one distinct label on it! And in order to achieve that every day, I draw inspiration from many places - not only famous websites but even the most random objects, which I want to talk about toda y:

Heute gibt es ein weiteres, fast vollständig aus Secondhand bestehendes Outfit. Und wie ihr wisst, liegt mir dieses Thema sehr am Herzen. In der heutigen Zeit muss eigentlich keiner von uns noch neue Kleidung kaufen, da noch genug im Umlauf ist, um uns alle zu versorgen. Dies ist nicht nur umweltfreundlicher als Fast-Fashion, sondern auch der einzige Weg den ich gefunden habe, der mit meinen ethische Grundsätzen übereinstimmt. Also schreibe ich diesmal über meine persönlichen allerliebsten "Quellen" für Secondhand-Schätze, lokal sowie online! // Today I want to show you another, almost completely thrifted outfit. Heute stelle ich euch diesen Rucksack vor. Er hat eine interessante Hintergrundgeschichte, ist nett zu eurem Geldbeutel - und besonders toll, wenn ihr auf der Suche nach einer Alternative zu den teuren und mies-produzierten Adidas-Backpacks seid, mit denen die anderen coolen Studenten so herumlaufen. Today I would like to introduce you to this backpack. There's an interesting background story to it, is nice to your bank account - and especially awesome if you're on the  hunt for  an alternative to the expensive and unethically- produced  Adidas-backpacks that  all the  other cool students are carrying around.

Diesmal besteht mein "Kostüm" aus Teilen, die eine Beamter in den 80ern getragen hätte, gepaart mit einem Pailletten-Cardigan, den ich auf einem Hipster-Flohmarkt entdeckt habe: This time my 'costume' consists  of pieces an office-worker from the 80s would have worn,paired with a gorgeous sequin-cardigan that I found on a hipster flea market:

Wilkommen auf dem 1. Eintrags dieses Blogs. Es könnte theoretisch auch gleichzeitig der Letzte sein, da ich gerne mal Projekte anfange, die ich nach kurzer Zeit wieder in eine der Schubladen meines Gehirns stecke und nie wieder herauskrame. Aber lassen wir die Zukunft einmal außer Acht und widmen wir uns dem heutigen Thema: Welcome to the 1st entry on this blog. Theoretically speaking, this might also be the last, since I often start projects that, after a while, I tend to put back into one of the many drawers inside of my brain - and never take them out again.
