Heute versorge ich euch wieder mit irrelevanten Infos und Gedanken aus dem Mikrokosmos meines Lebens, und kläre hoffentlich das Fragezeichen, das euch beim Lesens des Titels dieses Posts im Gesicht geschrieben steht:

Sie ist wieder zurück in Bremen!, obwohl es sich ohne meine Familie immer noch seltsam anfühlt. Ich freue mich schon darauf, die ganzen Sachen, die ich in Ostfriesland gekauft habe, hier anzuziehen. Kennt ihr das auch? Ich ziehe ein Outfit immer so oft an, bis ich denke, dass genug Menschen es gesehen haben, erst dann bin ich zufrieden ^^
Heute habe ich eine Jacke hervorgekramt, die ich vermutlich erst 1x
getragen habe. Sie hat einen sehr interessanten Schnitt - aber das ist
nicht das, was mich so daran fasziniert. Falls der Spruch "beurteile ein
Buch nicht nach seinem Einband" auf Kleidungsstücke zutreffen kann,
dann auf diese Jacke. Ich habe noch nie eine Jacke mit so einem schönen
Innenfutter gesehen. Aber seht selbst:
She's back in Bremen!, although it still feels weird being away from my family. I'm excited for wearing all the new items I bought in my hometown in Bremen again. Do you guys know that feeling too? I keep wearing an outfit until I think that enough people have seen it, only then I'm satisfied ^^
Today I pulled out a jacket that I've probably only worn once so far. It has a very interesting cut to it - but that's not the main thing that I'm so fascinated by. If the old saying " don't judge a book by it's cover " would apply to clothing, then it would fit this jacket. I've never seen a jacket with such a pretty lining on the inside. But see for yourself:
Den schwarzen Rock habe ich vor einiger Zeit beim Fairkaufhaus Bemerkenswert gefunden. Oder soll ich eher sagen, geklaut. Der hat nämlich nur einen mikrigen Euro gekostet...das tut mir ja fast schon leid (aber nur fast hehe). Leider ist er mir oben viel zu weit, weshalb ich ihn meistens mit einem Bobby Pin zusammenhalte (Note to Self: Nähsachen kaufen).
I found this black skirt in my favourite secondhand shop in Bremen. Or should I say, I practically stole it. Because it only cost 1€...i'm almost sorry for buying it for such a low price (almost. hehe) Unfortunately it's much too wide for me at the top, so I try to hold it together with bobby pins. (Note to self: buy sewing supplies).
Diese Tasche habe ich in der Werkstatt meines Vaters gefunden, in der noch viele alte Ledertaschen liegen, die alle viel zu schade zum Wegschmeißen sind. Es gibt bestimmte kleine Einzelheiten, die mir bei so vielen seiner "recycelten" oder umdesignten Taschen auffallen - die verschiedenen Materialien, Schnüre, Dekorationen, die er an alte (oder seiner Meinung nach zu langweiligen) Taschen befestigt hat, um sie wieder aufzuwerten. Im Original war es wohl ein Etui für Dokumente, an das er einen Riemen
zum Tragen genäht hat. Der Print "NVA" auf dem inneren Riemen bedeutet,
dass dieses Etui zur Austattung der Nationalen Volksarmee der DDR gehörte...wo hat Papa das wohl aufgetrieben? Das bleibt wohl ein ewiges Geheimnis ^^
Dank der Mütze sehe ich mit den Schuhen und dem Rock insgesamt aus wie Mary Poppins, die als Botenjunge im alten England geheime Dokumente der NVA überbringt. Das soll mir mal jemand nachmachen.
This bag has been laying around in my father's hobby-garage, accompanied by many other old and re- worked leather bags that are too pretty to be thrown away. There are many small details that I notice with so many of his recycled or re-designed bags - the different materials , lace , decorations , that he put onto old (or boring) bags in order to make them worth more to him again. Originally, this bag seems to have been a document- case that he transformed into a handbag by stiching a strap onto it. On the inner strap of the case it says "NVA" which was the abbrevation for "Nationale Volksarmee", back when Germany was parted and the DDR still existed. So the case belonged to the equipment of the DDR's army. . . I wonder where my dad found this one? I guess that'll stay a secret ^^
Thanks to the hat, in combination with the skirt and the shoes , I look like Mary Poppins who delivered secret documents for the NVA as a delivery boy back in old England. I'd say that's quiet hard to imitate.
