✌ VEGAN CHOCO CROSSIES – easy, crunchy and to die for.

Don't we all have that one friend who ghosts you for the majority of their life and only gets into contact when it is convenient for them? Well, even if you didn't happen to know someone like that up to this point, now you do. I haven't posted on this blog since April of 2018 due to being occupied with adult life – but let me make it up to you. I always loved these crispy chocolate flakes before I went vegan – some of you might know them as "Choco Crossies". Unfortunately, even in 2019, finding a version that isn't made with dairy or sold by an evil big cooperation like Nestlé is pretty difficult. But let me tell you: if something proves that you do not need expensive or mystical ingredients, nor a lot of effort to make vegan sweets, it is this recipe. (I just noticed that every introduction to a vegan recipe blogpost on the internet sounds like that. Huh. Let's continue) You'll need: 200-300g of vegan chocolate  70g of cornflak...

VEGAN ON A BUDGET?! - 5 tips for saving money on food

"A vegan diet is too expensive. Too expensive for you .  You won't be able to maintain it  – don't even bother!" Is that what keeps repeating in your head whenever you think about going vegan ? Not surprising: most people consider veganism to be a diet for the rich. But it's time to deconstruct that belief. I'm the type of person who likes to save money and make good deals, even when it comes to food.  As a student, I'm living on a limited budget anyway and simply can't – and don't want to - spend it all on food. I went vegan when I was still living with my family, and money was always a big topic. But I proved them wrong:  Here are some general rules and tips you can stick to in order to eat vegan on a budget!  These might be helpful too if you're not even interested in veganism and just need to learn the basics of attaining (cheap) food. 1. Cheap staple foods Many of the vegan staple foods are simul...

All of us set goals that we want to reach in our lives. Some set big ones, some rather small ones. And what about me? One of my goals is to have a long, red lion's mane. Wow, ambitious, I know :') To get hair to grow long, one needs not only patience, but a good hair care routine - which, in my case, should be vegan and affordable. Why I quit "No-Poo", the products that I use at the moment, and how I do so, will be the topic of today's post.

"No-Poo": Haare waschen ohne Shampoo? / Washing Hair without shampoo?

If one's ambitious to live an eco-friendly and simple lifestyle, it is not hard to stumble across this topic. Known under the term "no-poo", peo...
