O U T F I T ❶ - "Filzpleasure"

Wilkommen auf dem 1. Eintrags dieses Blogs. Es könnte theoretisch auch gleichzeitig der Letzte sein, da ich gerne mal Projekte anfange, die ich nach kurzer Zeit wieder in eine der Schubladen meines Gehirns stecke und nie wieder herauskrame. Aber lassen wir die Zukunft einmal außer Acht und widmen wir uns dem heutigen Thema:

Welcome to the 1st entry on this blog. Theoretically speaking, this might also be the last, since I often start projects that, after a while, I tend to put back into one of the many drawers inside of my brain - and never take them out again. But let's forget about the future and devote ourselves to today's topic:

Ein immer-wieder auftauchendes Muster in meinem Leben ist Folgendes: Sobald ich neue Secondhand-Stücke ergattert habe, muss ich sie am nächsten Tag sofort zusammen anziehen, egal wie wenig passend sie a) zueinander oder b) für die Tagessituation sind. Dieses Outfit ist also eine Art "Einweihungsparty" für meinen neuen Lieblinge:

An always re-appearing pattern in my life is the following: As soon as I find new thrift-pieces, I have to wear them all together the next day, no matter how a) non-mixable or b) non-suitable they are for the situations I'll find myself in during the day. So this outfit is some kind of "inauguration party" for my new treasures:

Die Basken-Mütze: 

Für 6€ entdeckt bei "Secondhand für die Frau" in der Neustadt Bremens. Ich habe schon lange nach einer Basken-Mütze gesucht und stand oft in Geschäften wie h&m oder c&a, nur um festzustellen, dass die Dinger eigentlich immer aus Wolle produziert werden. Und die Wollindustrie ist dezent schrecklich. Also könnt ihr euch bestimmt vorstellen, wie glücklich ich war ein Secondhand-Modell zu finden, sogar in Dunkelgrün!

The beret: 
Found it for 6€ @ a shop in a part of Bremen called "Neustadt". I've been looking for one like this for a while and often found myself standing in stores like h&m and c&a, just to realize that they're almost always made from wool. And the wool industry is just slightly...horrific. So you can imagine how happy I was to find a secondhand-piece in such a pretty color!

Der Cardigan: 

Ein dunkelgrüner Filz-Cardigan, für 13€ entdeckt im "Fairkaufhaus BemerkensWert" am Schüsselkorb in Bremen. Mit Kleidergröße 60 wohl am meisten "oversized"-te Stück das ich besitze. Und ich liebe es, dass es so gut verarbeitet ist. Das fällt mir bei vielen der Trachten-Stücke auf, die ich bereits Secondhand geshoppt habe.

The Cardigan: 
A dark-green felt*-cardigan, which was 13€ in a shop in Bremen's inner city. With it being a size EU 60, it's probably the most oversized thing i own. And i love that it's so well made, which I often notice with the traditional German "Trachten" clothing i've been finding in secondhand shops so far.

*("Felt" translates to "Filz" in German - that information, combined with the video at the end, 

might help my english readers to understand the word-play in the title of this post)

Das Hemd: 

6€, Fairkaufhaus BemerkensWert. Ich habe nicht viele langärmelige Hemden da mir immer und überall warm ist, aber dieses hier ist irgendwie besonders. Kennt ihr noch Bibi & Tina? Die Kinderserie?? Das erste, was mir in den Sinn geschossen kam, als ich dieses Teil gefunden habe, war: "Hey, das würde Tina's Mutter tragen". Ja, genau. Ich denke auch dass mein Gehirn manchmal sehr sonderbare Verknüpfungen erstellt. Aber diese Stickereien im Landfrauen-Stil sind halt einfach süß.

The shirt: 
6€. I don't own many long-sleeved pieces 

since my body seems to be a walking radiator. But this 

one is kinda special, don't you think? It has such pretty 

embroidery and looks like a shirt a farmer's wife 

in the place i grew up in would wear!

Der Rock: 3€ @ Secondhand für die Frau. Normalerweise steh ich ja nicht so auf eng-anliegende Röcke, aber dieser ist sehr leicht kombinierbar und passt wie angegossen!

This skirt was only 3€! 

Usually I don't really like tight skirts, but this one has such a pretty color and fits like a glove.

Und zu guter Letzt: Schuhe von Doc Martens, gebraucht über Ebay gekauft. Schmuck von Oma :) 

And last but not least: Shoes by Doc Martens, which I got secondhand  on ebay ages ago. Bracelets are from my grandma :)
